Apple Tree Farm
We have enjoyed breeding pure bred Falabella horses and Kelly bronze turkeys for Christmas but are now taking a step back as we look forward to retirement. We still rear our Hampshire Down and mixed breed sheep and also have alpacas and free range hens. We are now offering farm visits aimed at giving children an insight into farm animals and nature. Visits must be pre-booked and include hands on experience feeding sheep and alpacas, collecting eggs plus a woodland treasure hunt. £15 per adult and children under 16 years free (maximum two children per adult).
We are also arranging various craft workshops throughout the year.
We are looking forward to welcoming guests to stay in our new shepherds hut - sleeps two but space available to bring your own tent for children or additional adults - dogs welcome.
